Vaccinations are not limited to children; they are appropriate for people of all ages.

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, emphasized that disease prevention begins before infection and is based on three key pillars: receiving appropriate vaccinations, undergoing regular medical checkups, and following a healthy lifestyle. He explained that vaccinations are not limited to children but are suitable for people of different age groups according to their health needs.

He highlighted the importance of the seasonal influenza vaccine with the arrival of winter, as well as the necessary vaccinations for travelers to countries where certain diseases are prevalent. He also stressed the importance of vaccination against hepatitis B, explaining that vaccines train the immune system to fight pathogens before infection occurs. He further emphasized the importance of the influenza vaccine, particularly for older adults, children, pregnant women, and people with chronic diseases or weakened immune systems, to help reduce the risk of serious complications.
