Minister of Education and Technical Education Mohammad Abdel Latif approved the results of the second-round secondary school exams. The pass rate for students under the new system reached 92.2%. The scientific track pass rate was 91.3%, the mathematics track 92.6%, and the literary track 93.9%. For students under the old system, the overall pass rate was 99%, with the scientific track at 99.6%, the mathematics track at 93.2%, and the literary track at 100%.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education denied rumors circulating on social media that claimed the cancellation of the integrated science subject for first-year secondary students and the reintroduction of separate subjects (chemistry, physics, and biology). The Ministry confirmed that the curriculum for first-year secondary students remains unchanged, including Integrated Science.
