Social Solidarity Ministry launches “Bokra El-Madrasa.. El-Kheir Fi Masr” Initiative

Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, announced the launch of the Ministry’s “Bokra El-Madrasa.. El-Kheir Fi Masr” initiative in cooperation and partnership with Misr El Kheir Foundation and the Fund for Supporting Projects of Civil Associations and Foundations, as part of preparations for the new 2026–2027 academic year and efforts to provide school supplies to students across various governorates.

The initiative will provide school bags to primary and preparatory school students through a platform to be launched by the Fund for Supporting Projects of Civil Associations and Foundations under the name “Bokra El-Madrasa.” The platform will receive and register requests from students seeking school bags containing all necessary educational tools and supplies.

The initiative aims to ease the economic burdens on families most in need by distributing school bags, educational tools, and supplies, helping provide students with a suitable learning environment and supporting their continued participation in the educational process.

The initiative is part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the social protection system and expand partnerships with civil society organizations, promoting integration between government and civil society entities in serving the most vulnerable groups.

The Ministry is implementing the initiative in cooperation with Misr El Kheir Foundation and the Fund for Supporting Projects of Civil Associations and Foundations to ensure that assistance reaches eligible beneficiaries through accurate databases and transparent mechanisms.

Dr. Mohamed Refaat, CEO of Misr El Kheir Foundation, said that the cooperation between the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Fund for Supporting Projects of Civil Associations and Foundations, and Misr El Kheir Foundation represents a successful model for maximizing the impact of development efforts. He noted that the initiative aims to bring joy to students and their families ahead of the new academic year, while promoting social solidarity and highlighting the importance of community participation in supporting education.

The “Bokra El-Madrasa.. El-Kheir Fi Masr” initiative is part of a series of initiatives implemented by the Ministry of Social Solidarity in cooperation with its partners to support the most vulnerable groups and achieve sustainable social development, in line with the state’s vision of investing in people and building a more cohesive society.
