Cairo Gov. chairs meeting to follows up on alternative housing projects

Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber chaired a meeting to follow up on the progress of housing projects established by the state as alternatives to unsafe areas, including Al-Asmarat, Ma’an, Ahalina, Rawdat Al-Sayyeda, Al-Mahrousa, and Al-Khayala. The meeting was attended by the heads of the newly developed city authorities and several officials from the Cairo governorate.

During the meeting, Governor Saber stated that the governorate consistently oversees the alternative housing projects to maintain progress while continuing to deliver proper services to citizens. He added that the state is committed to providing comprehensive care and services for the residents of these projects.

Saber also urged regularly checking maintenance, cleanliness, and security; guaranteeing access to essential services and food outlets offering commodities at affordable prices in coordination with the Directorate of Supply; and adhering to the regulations governing the projects and preserving facilities and utilities.

Moreover, Saber directed the expansion of sports, cultural, and social activities, particularly for children and youth, as they contribute to creating an integrated community environment and encourage them to develop their skills.
