Dr.
Ibrahim Saber, the Governor of Cairo, visited the Cairo Security Directorate to
congratulate Assistant Minister Maj. Gen. Tarek Rashed, the Director of the
Cairo Security Directorate, and all police officers on the occasion of the 73rd
anniversary of Egyptian Police Day.
The governor was
accompanied by Deputy Governors Ibrahim Abdel Hadi, Hossam Fawzi, Mona Batrawi,
and Ashraf Mansour, as well as Secretary-General Yahia El-Adgham, Assistant
Secretary-General Hossam Labib, and several officials from the Cairo
governorate.
During his visit,
Saber expressed his deep appreciation for the efforts made by the police in
achieving security and stability. He praised their national role in combating
terrorism and corruption, as well as their commitment to enforcing law and
order in a manner that ensures the safety of citizens.
Moreover, Saber
stated that the anniversary of the police's heroic struggle in 1952 will remain
a significant national occasion, embodying a true image of sacrifice, a symbol
of dedication, and a deep sense of belonging to the homeland.
Saber commended the
vital role of police officers across all sectors, acknowledging their
sacrifices and honoring the pure souls of the martyrs to uphold the security
and stability of the nation.
Furthermore, Saber
praised the collaborative efforts between the Cairo Security Directorate and
the executive bodies of the governorate to restore order to the streets of the
capital, with the goal of improving the living conditions for citizens.
At the conclusion of
his visit, Saber presented the Cairo Governorate shield to Maj. Gen. Tarek
Rashed in recognition of the police's efforts in serving the nation.
