Sisi urges national solidarity amid regional threats during visit to Police Academy
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi paid a visit to the
Police Academy on Saturday, engaging in discussions with students to tackle
local, regional, and global situations.
During his visit, Sisi emphasized the crucial roles of
the Egyptian Armed Forces and the Police, highlighting the need for solidarity
among all citizens to advance and safeguard the nation against any threats.
He stressed that this unity is essential to safeguard
Egypt's achievements, promote development, and ensure security and stability.
During an inspection visit to the academy
headquarters, Sisi monitored the physical examination tests for prospective
male and female students applying to join the academy via the electronic
examination results registration system.
He reviewed each student's data and their performance
throughout the tests, which emphasizes the full transparency of the evaluation
process.
Sisi instructed the continued use of objective
criteria to select the most distinguished individuals. This aims to enhance the
police’s performance and their pivotal role in consolidating the pillars of
national security and stability by nurturing a new generation of exceptional
personnel.
The president expressed profound gratitude for the
police’s critical role in safeguarding the country, underscoring the sacrifices
made by officers and their families over the past years in the face of
terrorism, demonstrating the resilience of Egyptian citizens in confronting
challenges.
Sisi’s visit to the Police Academy follows his recent
tour of the Egyptian Military Academy and the academy's Equestrian Club at the
Strategic Command Headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
There, he observed assessment tests for students
seeking admission to the military colleges, held for the first time at the
academy's new location.
