Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber received President of the Ahly Club Mahmoud El-Khatib at the governorate’s headquarters. Saber and El-Khatib explored during the meeting aspects of cooperation across several areas.
Moreover, Saber praised the Ahly club's offer to participate in the “Greening Cairo” initiative by planting trees in areas and major roads surrounding the club. The governor also said that sports and community institutions have a vital role in protecting the environment, creating more green spaces, and improving the capital's urban landscape.
The governor also commended the Ahly community's role and its continued participation in initiatives serving surrounding communities.
