​Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber has approved the final exam schedule for the second term of the academic year 2024/2025. The exams will take place from May 21 to June 4, 2025. 

Governor Saber stressed the importance of taking all precautionary and preventive measures before and during exams to ensure students’ safety and providing all necessary facilitations to ensure easy and smooth examinations.

Samah Ibrahim, Director of the Cairo Education Directorate, said the first and second year secondary school students (and their equivalents) will take their exams from Wednesday, May 21, to Tuesday, May 27. Third-grade primary school students will take their exams from Thursday, May 22, to Monday, May 26. Fourth, fifth, and sixth-grade primary school students (and their equivalents) will take their exams from Thursday, May 22, to Tuesday, May 27.

General, sports, and vocational preparatory first and second grade exams (and their equivalents) will be held from Thursday, May 22, to Tuesday, May 27. General, sports, deaf, blind, and vocational preparatory third-grade exams will be held from Saturday, May 31, to Wednesday, June 4. First and second grade exams for technical education will be held from Saturday, May 17, to Tuesday, May 27.

Director Samah Ibrahim announced that the Advanced-level subject exam for the third preparatory grade will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 20 and 21. The exams for educational activities and physical education subjects for the first and second grades of secondary school will be conducted based on the specific circumstances of each educational administration.

Exams for non-core subjects for transfer grades will take place from Saturday, May 17, to Wednesday, May 21. Practical examinations for vocational preparatory students will be held from Saturday, May 17, to Monday, May 19. The initial assessment for first and second grades in primary school will be conducted from Sunday, May 11, to Thursday, May 15, while the final assessment will occur from Sunday, May 18, to Thursday, May 22.
