Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber conducted an inspection tour of the Misr Al-Qadima district and its surrounding area.

During his tour, Saber followed up on the ongoing traffic adjustments in the Manial area, which coincided with the implementation of the first phase of the fourth line of the metro by constructing the Al-Rawda station.

Saber asserted that the Cairo Traffic Department has deployed the necessary traffic services and coordinated with the executing companies to provide technical assistance and all the required preparations indicating the construction work in the area to ensure the safety and security of citizens.

Moreover, Saber directed officials to remove all illegal occupancy, prevent unauthorized parking, and improve the efficiency of squares and all roads leading to them. He also ordered the improvement of the efficiency of pavements and street lighting, the replacement of damaged interlocking tiles, the increase of green spaces, and the addition of plants to traffic islands to enhance the aesthetic appearance of the neighborhood.  

The governor was accompanied by Deputy Cairo Governor Ashraf Mansour and several officials of Cairo governorate.
