Cairo Gov. inaugurates Rod El-Farag Intellectual School renovation
Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber inaugurated the development
and upgrading of the Intellectual Education School in the Rod El-Farag
neighborhood. The project was carried out by the General Authority for
Educational Buildings under the Ministry of Education.
Governor Saber stated that the state, under President Abdel Fattah
El-Sisi, places great emphasis on individuals with special abilities and people
of determination. He highlighted the president's commitment to consistently
ensuring that all their needs are met, recognizing their active role in all
aspects of life.
Saber also emphasized the state's commitment to fully supporting schools
that provide intellectual education, ensuring these children's rights to
education and development. These schools are equipped with modern educational
tools such as smart boards, group hearing aids, and speech-to-text programs.
They offer a specialized educational, psychological, and behavioral
environment, as well as free education aimed at developing students'
professional and artistic skills. Additionally, they foster partnerships to
train students in work skills, preparing them for the labor market.
The school is situated on a 1,500 m² site and consists of a building
with a ground floor and two upper floors. It includes 10 classrooms, an
artificial turf field, and landscaping featuring umbrellas and pergolas.
Additionally, a comprehensive surveillance system covers the floors and the
entire site, complemented by a modern fire-extinguishing system.
The governor was accompanied by Deputy Cairo Governor Omar Mahmoud El-Shafaei
El-Akrat, several officials from the Cairo Governorate, and members of both the
House of Representatives and the Senate.
Following the inauguration, Saber engaged with several parents and asked
about their assessment of the quality of educational services offered to
students.
