Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber attended a celebration held by the Ministry of
Endowments to commemorate the anniversary of the Tenth of Ramadan victory. The
event was held in the presence of the Minister of Endowments, Dr. Osama
Al-Azhari, following Tarawih prayers at Al-Aziz Al-Hakim Mosque in the Mokattam
neighborhood.
The ceremony was
attended by Deputy Cairo Governor Ashraf Mansour; Egypt’s Grand Mufti, Dr.
Nazir Ayyad; Deputy of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Dr. Mohammad Abdulrahman Al-Duwaini;
the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Mosque, Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb; President of Al-Azhar
University, Dr. Salama Dawood; Sheikh of the Sufi Orders, Abdel Hadi Al-Qasabi;
Head of the Al-Ashraf Syndicate, Mahmoud Al-Sharif; Chairman of the Religious
Committee in the Senate, Dr. Shawki Allam; Director of Cairo’s Endowment
Directorate, Sheikh Khaled Salah; several commanders of the Armed Forces; and
members of the House of Representatives and the Senate.
During the ceremony,
Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber extended his congratulations to President
Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the courageous Armed Forces, and the Egyptian people on
the anniversary of the victory of the 10th of Ramadan 1393 AH, which occurred
on October 6, 1973 AD. He emphasized that the 10th of Ramadan will remain an
eternal symbol of national pride, heroism, and the sacrifices made by our brave
Armed Forces in defense of the nation.
Saber also stated
that this immortal national anniversary will remain etched in the annals of
history as a source of pride and honor, commemorating the sacrifices and
heroism of the courageous members of our armed forces—the steadfast defenders
of our precious country. He prayed to God Almighty to keep Egypt strong, safe,
and stable, and to grant its great people continued prosperity and development
under the wise leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
