Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber met with Ambassador Amjad Al-Adhaileh, the Jordanian
Ambassador to Egypt, at his office in the Cairo Governorate headquarters.
During the meeting,
Governor Saber emphasized the deep-rooted relationship between Egypt and
Jordan, highlighting that the ties between Cairo and Amman serve as an
exemplary model of joint Arab cooperation.
The meeting focused
on strategies to implement the articles of the friendship and cooperation
agreement signed between the governorate and the city of Amman in 2015, viewing
it as a practical framework for enhancing institutional cooperation and
exchanging experiences in local administration.
Moreover, the meeting
also discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Cairo and Amman in the areas
of culture, education, housing, infrastructure, local services, urban
management, adaptation to climate change, and improving the quality of life in
cities.
