On
behalf of Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli, Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber
attended the Episcopal Church’s Christmas celebration at All Saints Cathedral
in the Zamalek neighborhood.
During the Christmas
celebration, Governor Saber extended his congratulations and prayed to God to
grant Egypt and its people continued prosperity, well-being, safety, and
security under the wise leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Saber also stated
that the people of Egypt, both Muslim and Christian, form a unified fabric,
bound together by a single nation and shared aspirations to build a modern
Egypt with a future that honors all its citizens and stands as a lasting
testament across ages and generations.
Moreover, Saber instructed
district chiefs to intensify inspection campaigns and remove encroachments around
churches in preparation for New Year and Christmas celebrations.
Saber also ordered upgrades to the streets
surrounding the churches and ensured that the streetlight poles were
functioning properly.
Saber also instructed the removal of dilapidated
vehicles and the prohibition of parking near churches.
