Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber inaugurated Al-Zohour El-Gadidah Public Park in Ain
El-Sera, located in the Misr Al-Qadima neighborhood, to mark the Sham el-Nessim
celebrations.
During the
inauguration ceremony, Saber said the governorate is dedicated to
providing a clean and healthy environment by increasing the per capita share of
green spaces for the capital's residents and establishing public parks that
serve as recreational space for individuals from various social levels and
classes.
The Zohour Park
covers an area of 5,000 m² and serves as a green space for the residents of the
Misr Al-Qadima and Al-Khalifa neighborhoods in the southern area. The park
includes a designated area for food and beverage vendors, as well as a small
hall for summer events.
The inauguration
ceremony was also attended by Deputy Governors Hossam El-Din Fawzy, Mona
Batrawi, and Ashraf Mansour; Secretary-General Yahia Adgham; Assistant
Secretary-General Hossam Habib; and Head of the General Authority for Cairo’s
Cleaning, Beautification, and Lighting Waleed Abu El-Nasr.
