Following
the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to combat inflation, alleviate
the burden on citizens, and provide their needs at affordable prices ahead of
the holy month of Ramadan and the beginning of the mid-year vacation, Cairo
Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber announced the launching of the third edition of the
"Cairo Bazaar" at the Urban Market Complex in the Tenth District of
Nasr City from January 16 to 23, with the participation of more than 200
exhibitors and companies.
Saber stated that
the exhibition is the largest organized by the Cairo governorate, in terms of
product diversity and the number of participants. It also represents a
significant opportunity for families to fulfill their needs from a single
location at substantial discounts.
The exhibition
includes 40 private sector companies offering food commodities with discounts
ranging from 20% to 50%, including rice, oil, pasta, sugar, vegetables, fruits,
meat, and poultry, in addition to Ramadan supplies, dates, honey, dairy
products, cheeses, legumes, and spices.
The event also
features participation from companies affiliated with the Holding Company for
Food Industries and the Ministry of Supply. They will be showcasing a variety
of commodities such as high-quality food items and detergents.
Additionally, 80
exhibitors from productive families, handicrafts, young graduates, and small
projects will display products made from wood, leather, and copper.
The exhibition also
includes a section for clothing, accessories, shoes, perfumes, and eyewear,
with discounts of over 30%.
The
exhibition will also showcase a miniature model of the Obour Market, where
various traders will sell vegetables, fruits, and fish in bulk.
Additionally,
factories from the cities of the Amal, Asmarat, and Ezbet Khairallah will
participate, along with exhibitors from the "Ayadi Misr" platform and
the "Cairo Bazaar III" exhibition.
The
venue has been chosen to be at the urban market in the tenth district, adjacent
to the Zahraa Nasr City bus station, to facilitate citizens' access to meet
their needs.
