Cairo gov. conducts inspection tour of Mohammad Ali Fahmy Axis
Cairo
Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber inspected Mohammad Ali Fahmy Road Axis to follow up
on the ongoing efforts made by the executive authorities across road axes in
Cairo to prevent the dumping of construction debris, which impedes traffic flow.
Periodic
inspection campaigns are conducted to apprehend any vehicle attempting to dump
construction waste on the sides of the roads, and legal actions are taken
against violators immediately.
During
the tour, Saber directed Cairo’s Cleaning, Beautification, and Lighting
Authority and the Monitoring and Follow-up Department to continue inspection
campaigns to remove construction waste. He also instructed that daily campaigns
be conducted to prevent its recurrence.
Saber
also asserted that strict legal actions taken to prevent the dumping of waste
to preserve those axes established by the state for citizens to ease traffic
congestion have contributed to reducing these violations.
In
this regard, the Cairo Governorate urges citizens not to dispose of demolition debris
on the roads and axes to avoid legal accountability.
The
governor was accompanied by Deputy Cairo Governor Eng. Mona Batrawy and several
executives of Cairo governorate.
