The Egyptian and Jordanian air forces have conducted airdrops for tons of humanitarian aid and relief assistance to alleviate the suffering of Palestinian citizens in the areas affected by military operations in the Gaza Strip, Egyptian Armed Forces Spokesman Colonel Gharib Abdel-Hafez Gharib announced on Sunday.
The airdrops came under the directives of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi to work on delivering humanitarian aid including food, medicine, and relief materials urgently needed by the population of the strip, in cooperation with several brotherly and friendly countries.
This comes as part of Egypt's pivotal role towards the Palestinian cause, alleviating the humanitarian crisis and improving the conditions within the strip, the spokesman said.
