Cairo Governor
Ibrahim Saber inspected southern Cairo, including Dar El-Salam, Basatin, Maadi
districts, Ahmad Zaki, and Fayyoum Streets, to follow up on ongoing development
and increasing efficiency work.
During his tour, the
governor met some citizens and listened to their demands.
Saber urged district
chiefs to intensify inspection campaigns and conduct daily tours to listen to
citizens’ complaints and instantly provide solutions. He added his evaluation
criteria depend on citizens’ satisfaction with provided services and actual
outcomes.
The governor was
accompanied by Deputy Cairo Governor Ashraf Mansour, Assistant
Secretary-General Yahia El-Adghm, several district chiefs of southern Cairo,
and officials of Cairo governorate.
Moreover, Saber
followed up on removing street occupancies, ongoing work of upgrading roads,
pavements, street lighting, replacing damaged interlock tiles, increasing green
spaces, and upgrading parks to give an aesthetic look to the area.
During his tour,
Saber inaugurated Dar El-Salam Event Hall, established to serve the residents
of Dar El-Salam District in the presence of members of the House of
Representatives and the Senate.
