Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, announced that cash assistance under the “Takaful and Karama” program for October will be disbursed to 4.7 million families today, Thursday, October 15, with a total value exceeding EGP 4 billion.
Beneficiaries began receiving their payments in the early hours of this morning through all available ATMs belonging to banks across the country. They can also use the funds for electronic payments, government transactions, and purchases.
The Ministry of Social Solidarity is monitoring the disbursement of assistance under the Takaful and Karama program, in coordination with the directors of social solidarity directorates to follow up on the progress of the disbursement process.
It is worth noting that the program provides cash assistance to 4.7 million of the most vulnerable families, with an annual budget of EGP 54 billion.
