Deadline for submitting appeals against 2026 General Secondary School results is tomorrow

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education will close the appeals period for General Secondary School students who are dissatisfied with their results in the first-round exams for the 2025/2026 academic year on Thursday, August 13, 2026.

The Ministry explained the procedures and regulations for submitting appeals as follows:

First: Steps for submitting an appeal:

- Students must pay EGP 300 for each subject they wish to appeal through the Ministry of Education’s approved payment channels (Egypt Post, Fawry, and e-finance), in favor of the Education Projects Support and Financing Fund.

Second: Procedures during the appeal:

- The student must attend the appeal center alone or accompanied by a parent. Bringing the subject teacher is prohibited.
- Students must attend at the scheduled appointment. Those who fail to attend will not be allowed to submit another request.
- A clear photocopy of the national ID cards of both the student and the parent must be provided.
- The student will review a copy of their answer sheets (bubble sheet and essay sheet), along with the official answer key.
- The student reviews the answers, calculates the scores according to the grading distribution in the answer key, and records any comments in the designated section.

Third: Procedures after the answers are reviewed by the specialized technical committees:

-If the student’s grade is changed, the student will be notified of the appeal result and the fees will be refunded.
Grade increases are approved by the Head or Deputy Head of the General Examination Committee.

- The Ministry of Education and Technical Education will notify the Ministry of Higher Education (University Admissions Coordination Office) of the student’s revised result.
