As part of the National Council for Women’s efforts to promote women’s health and raise awareness of the importance of early detection, the Council’s Cairo branch, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the Cairo Health Directorate, is providing early breast cancer screening services through a mobile medical unit at the Council’s headquarters in Nasr City.
The screening services are available from September 28 through October 8, except Fridays and Saturdays, during official working hours.
The initiative coincides with Pink October and is part of the Council’s ongoing efforts to support women’s health and raise awareness of the importance of regular checkups and early detection, which can improve the chances of identifying and addressing the disease at an early stage.
The Council emphasizes that women’s health is a key pillar of women’s empowerment, and that providing screening services helps raise health awareness and encourages women to prioritize their health and undergo regular checkups.
