Experts at the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expect mild, autumn-like weather early this Tuesday morning. Temperatures will be warm during the day along the northern coasts, hot across Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt, and extremely hot in southern Upper Egypt. Temperatures will be moderate at night across most parts of the country.
Mist is expected to form from 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. on some roads leading to and from northern parts of the country, extending through Greater Cairo, the Canal cities, northern Upper Egypt and central Sinai. Drivers are advised to exercise caution due to reduced visibility.
There are chances of light rain, occasionally moderate, with a probability of up to 20%, in scattered areas of the northern coasts, northern Lower Egypt and parts of the Western Desert.
Rainfall may become locally heavier in some areas and at intervals, while there are low chances of light rain in parts of southern Lower Egypt, potentially extending to Greater Cairo, central Sinai, the Halayeb and Shalateen areas, and the far south of Upper Egypt.
In Cairo, temperatures are expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 21°C today.
