Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber led a large-scale campaign against encroachments and illegal occupations on the corniche of the Abdel Mageed Mahmoud traffic corridor in the Mokattam area.
The governor was accompanied by Deputy Cairo Governor Ashraf Mansour along with several senior officials from the Cairo governorate.
During the campaign, Saber stated that there would be zero tolerance for any encroachments on the surrounding area of Corniche Al-Mokattam or any illegal occupations that harm the city’s civilized image. He also urged immediate action against all violations and the strict enforcement of legal measures against offenders.
Saber further said that the campaigns aim to restore order to Corniche Al-Mokattam and maintain the urban character of the area. He also ordered daily inspection campaigns to prevent reoccurrence of encroachments, along with intensified round‑the‑clock monitoring.
Furthermore, the governor stated that the governorate is implementing a comprehensive plan to eliminate all forms of encroachments across Cairo in line with the government’s directives to protect the state’s public property and improve the living conditions of citizens. He added that there will be strict enforcement of the law against violators.
