The Egyptian Meteorological Authority forecasts warm to hot weather today, across the North Coast, Greater Cairo, the Nile Delta, northern Upper Egypt, and South Sinai, with extremely hot conditions in southern Upper Egypt. Temperatures will be moderate during the early night, becoming relatively cool toward late night.
As for weather phenomena, light to moderate, occasionally thundery rain is expected in parts of the North Coast and northern Delta at intermittent intervals. There is also a low chance of light rain in parts of the southern Delta, Canal cities, central Upper Egypt, areas of the Western Desert, South Sinai, and parts of Halayeb and Shalateen, with a slight chance that rain may extend to parts of Greater Cairo. Winds are also expected to be active intermittently over Greater Cairo, South Sinai, southern Egypt, and the Red Sea Governorate.
Experts expect temperatures in Cairo to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 19°C.
