Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber said that restoration and maintenance work on the Tomb of Abbasid Caliphs, Ayyubid Wall, and Ribat of Umm Al-Adil, behind Al-Sayyida Nafisa Mosque, are almost complete. The restoration work is a collaborative effort with the National Organization for Urban Harmony and the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
Governor Saber further said that the restoration of the outer façade of the Dome of the Caliphs and the Dome of Sidi Muwaffaq Al-Din, the Ribat of Umm Al-Sultan Al-Adil, the extension of the Ayyubid Wal, and the alley of Al-Sayeda Nafisa has been completed. More than 70% of landscaping works have also been finished, the governor added.
