Education Ministry Sets Conditions for Returning School Tablets After Graduation

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education has established the conditions for returning tablet devices by students and other eligible groups after completing their studies. The Ministry emphasized that each device must be accompanied by a certificate issued by an authorized agent confirming that the device and all its accessories are in working condition. Educational administrations will not accept the return of any device without this certificate.

The Ministry clarified that tablet devices returned by eligible groups for the following reasons—expiration of the warranty, transfer or secondment, referral to retirement, completion of studies by successful students, or transfer to another educational system—must be retained in the warehouses of the respective educational administrations after a certificate confirming their operational condition has been submitted. This must be carried out in accordance with legally prescribed inventory procedures. The educational directorates must also provide the Ministry’s Central Administration for Financial and Administrative Affairs with details of the devices held in custody and reports on their technical condition.
