The Journalists Syndicate announced that it will begin receiving applications from journalists wishing to perform Hajj in 2027 through the package system available on the “Nusuk” platform, starting October 12, 2026, until 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Applications are open exclusively to journalists and their first-degree relatives.
The Syndicate confirmed that direct Hajj visas under the package system are processed through the Nusuk platform, without the Syndicate’s involvement in organizing trips or determining package prices. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia sets the prices in accordance with the applicable regulations.
The Syndicate explained that applicants must be no older than 65 years. Applicants must select one of the available packages through the Nusuk platform and confirm payment of its cost in preparation for the electronic issuance of the Hajj visa. It added that the successful applicants will be selected by the Saudi Embassy, with no involvement from the Syndicate in the selection process.
The Syndicate invited interested journalists to submit their applications at the Press Services Center on the first floor of the Syndicate’s headquarters. Applications must include a copy of the 2026 Syndicate membership card, a passport valid for at least one year, an active email address, and a mobile phone number to receive approval notifications and complete the necessary procedures.
