Cairo Governor Directs the Swift Completion of Development Works on Al-Sarayat Street

Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, inspected the commencement of development and improvement works on Al-Sarayat Street in Al-Waily District, extending from in front of the Faculty of Engineering to the Al-Sekka Al-Beida area, covering a distance of approximately one kilometer. The project is part of the governorate’s plan to upgrade major roads and thoroughfares and improve the quality of services provided to citizens. The Governor of Cairo was accompanied on his tour by Dr. Ahmed Anwar Attia El-Adl, Deputy Governor for the Western Region, and a number of senior officials from the governorate.

The development works are being carried out as part of the investment plan of Al-Waily District and include repaving the street, upgrading sidewalks, completing curbstone works, removing encroachments, and expanding landscaping and tree-planting efforts. These measures will contribute to improving the area’s overall appearance and enhancing the street’s efficiency. The works also include upgrading a number of squares in cooperation with civil society organizations.

Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, affirmed that the development of Al-Sarayat Street is part of the governorate’s plan to upgrade major roads and thoroughfares and improve the surrounding areas. He noted that the development works aim to bring about a tangible improvement in the condition of the street and enhance the area’s overall appearance.

The Governor of Cairo directed that the works be completed promptly according to the निर्धारित schedule, while adhering to the highest quality standards in implementation. He stressed the need to preserve the completed development works to ensure their sustainability.

The Governor of Cairo also highlighted the importance of cooperation with civil society organizations in implementing development and improvement works in public squares. He emphasized that NGOs and civil society institutions are key partners in supporting the governorate’s efforts to improve the quality of services provided to citizens.
