The Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade, in cooperation with the chambers of commerce and relevant authorities, is preparing to launch the “Ahlan Madaris 2026” fairs as the new academic year approaches. The initiative aims to provide school supplies and essential items for students at affordable prices, while offering a wide variety of products needed by Egyptian families.
The main “Ahlan Madaris 2026” fair is scheduled to open in Nasr City, Cairo Governorate, in the coming days, alongside plans to expand the establishment of main fairs and additional branches across various governorates, cities, and major districts to make school supplies more accessible to citizens.
The fair plan includes expanding the number of exhibitions across the governorates, with at least one main fair targeted for each governorate, in addition to other branches in major cities and key areas. This will make it easier for families to obtain their children’s needs before the start of the academic year.
The “Ahlan Madaris 2026” fairs are not limited to Cairo. The organizing authorities are planning to expand the fairs across different governorates, with at least one main fair in each governorate, along with additional branches in major cities, districts, and various areas, in order to make school supplies available closer to citizens rather than limiting them to governorate capitals.
The “Ahlan Madaris 2026” fairs will offer a wide range of products and supplies needed by students at different educational levels, most notably: school uniforms and clothing, shoes, school bags, notebooks, pens and stationery, various school tools and supplies, supplementary books, leather goods, some electronic devices and products, as well as a range of food commodities and other necessities of interest to families.
The fairs aim to provide as many supplies as possible in one location, helping families prepare for the new academic year and reduce the cost of purchasing essential items. The “Ahlan Madaris 2026” fairs are part of the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade’s efforts to provide families with the goods and supplies they need at affordable prices, while offering a diverse selection of school tools, clothing, bags, shoes, and other products.
The chambers of commerce and relevant authorities are participating in organizing the fairs, helping to make products available on a wider scale during the back-to-school season and making it easier for citizens to obtain their essential supplies.
The “Ahlan Madaris” fairs aim to help Egyptian families provide their children with the items they need before the start of the academic year by making a large number of supplies available at designated retail outlets and offering them at affordable prices. The fairs serve students at different educational levels, from the early stages through pre-university education, providing tools, clothing, bags, shoes, and other essential supplies.
