New Job Opportunities at Higher Institute of Transportation Technology

The Egyptian National Railways Authority announced that applications remain open for the positions of Lecturer and Assistant Professor specializing in Power Mechanical Engineering at the Higher Institute of Transportation Technology, in accordance with the rules and requirements stipulated in University Organization Law No. 49 of 1972, its executive regulations and amendments, as well as the Institute’s regulations. Applicants must also possess the required academic qualifications and professional experience.

Applicants for the position of Lecturer must hold a PhD in the announced specialization from one of the Egyptian universities subject to the University Organization Law, or an equivalent degree recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities. Applicants must also be no older than 45 years as of the date of publication of the announcement.

For the position of Assistant Professor, applicants must hold the academic rank of Assistant Professor in the required specialization, awarded by the Permanent Scientific Committee for Promotions of the Supreme Council of Universities. Applicants must also be no older than 55 years.

The Authority specified the required application documents, including:

- An application addressed to the Dean of the Institute.
- A CV supported by relevant documents.
- Original academic qualifications and copies thereof.
- An automated birth certificate.
- A copy of the national ID card.
- A certificate of completion of military service or a final exemption certificate for male applicants.
- A recent criminal record certificate.
- Eight personal photographs.
- Certificates of experience and training courses.
- Any other documents specified in the announcement.

The Authority explained that applications will remain open for five days from the date of publication of the announcement, through the completion and submission of the required information and documents via the electronic application link.

The initiative comes as part of the Ministry of Transport’s strategy to develop the educational and training system at the Higher Institute of Transportation Technology in Wardan and strengthen it with distinguished academic and scientific expertise. The goal is to contribute to preparing qualified technological and technical personnel capable of keeping pace with the continuous development of Egypt’s railway transportation systems, supporting the state’s efforts to improve the transportation system and the services provided to citizens.
