The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has launched a new awareness series titled “Eref Abl El-Tansiq” as part of the commencement of the second phase of the electronic admissions process for public universities and institutes for the 2026/2027 academic year.
This comes as part of implementing the directives of Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Culture, to intensify awareness and guidance efforts for high school students and their parents.
The series aims to provide reliable and simplified information on the steps of the electronic admissions process, answer the most frequently asked questions and inquiries, and correct misconceptions. This will help students register their preferences correctly and make informed decisions that align with their abilities, interests, and future aspirations.
Dr. Ahmed El-Gioshy, Acting Head of the Education Sector and Supervisor of the Coordination Office, said the series covers all topics students need to know before and during the electronic admissions process, including how to rank preferences, how to properly benefit from previous years’ admission results, geographical distribution rules, aptitude tests, transfers, nomination procedures, and other topics of major importance to students and their parents.
Dr. Adel Abdel-Ghaffar, the Ministry’s Media Advisor and Official Spokesperson, explained that the “Eref Abl El-Tansiq” series will be presented through short videos, infographics, and simplified educational materials, which will be published successively across the Ministry’s official platforms. This is intended to ensure that accurate information reaches the largest possible number of students and help reduce the spread of inaccurate information and rumors related to the electronic admissions process.
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research urged high school students and their parents to regularly follow the Ministry’s official platforms for all educational and guidance materials related to the electronic admissions process, rely on official sources for accurate information, and avoid following any information circulated through unofficial pages or websites.
