Higher Cinema Institute students join creativity camp in South Korea

Students from the Higher Institute of Cinema at the Academy of Arts will participate in the “Jinju International Youth Creativity Camp 2026,” hosted by Jinju City in South Korea from August 21 to 26.

The institute’s participation reflects the cinema institute’s commitment to supporting and encouraging students to engage with international cinematic and creative experiences while providing opportunities to interact and exchange expertise with peers from around the world.

Representing the institute at the camp are two students: Sara Reda from the Department of Décor and Yahia El-Hermil from the Department of Sound Engineering. They are joining a group of university students participating in activities that include lectures, workshops, creative projects, and cultural programs designed to foster communication and familiarize participants with Korean culture.

The institute’s participation is part of its broader strategy to expand its international presence and enhance its students’ involvement in global forums, thereby strengthening their skills and opening new opportunities for cultural and cinematic collaboration.
