Cairo Governor Ibrahim Saber conducted an inspection tour of eastern Cairo, including the Ain Shams and Nozha districts, to follow up on the ongoing development work of Alf Maskan and Gesr Suez neighborhoods.
During his tour, Saber asserted continuous monitoring of the Gesr Suez neighborhood to preserve it after it was recently redesigned and organized following the relocation of the old bus stop and establishing a public park for citizens.
Saber said that the newly built microbus stop in Alf Maskn helped reduce congestion and crowding in the area, leading to lighter traffic for the residents.
Moreover, Saber urged executive bodies of the Cairo governorate to follow up on development work underway in the capital to preserve it, prevent encroachments, and keep the area free from street occupancies to maintain Cairo’s urban image and achievements that are being implemented.
Saber also called for intensified inspection campaigns in coordination with the Public Utilities Police to eliminate illegal activities and take necessary actions against violators.
The governor was accompanied by Deputy Cairo Governor Mona El-Batrawy and several officials of the Cairo governorate.
