Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhy and Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal attended the annual forum for volunteers of the Ministry of Youth and Sports held under the auspices of Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli at the Olympic Center in Maadi.

During the forum, Abdel Aal expressed his happiness to participate in the annual forum amidst this large gathering of promising youth, highlighting the political leadership's interest in improving youth abilities and skills by making sports an essential part of a healthy lifestyle for them. They also pay great attention to discovering outstanding athletic talents and qualifying them to participate in championships and competitions.

Moreover, Abdel Aal asserted that the governorate spares no effort in supporting youth, providing sports fields, and establishing and developing youth centers across the capital.

The governor also commended the support provided by Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhi to develop the youth and sports system in Cairo Governorate and across Egypt to serve our youth, who are the future and hope of Egypt.

The initiative adopted by the Ministry of Youth and Sports focuses on forming groups of youth volunteers from all cities, universities, and youth centers to engage with their peers to identify their requirements and needs. It also aims to integrate youth more effectively into community activities, provide opportunities to participate in ministry events, build and develop their skills, motivate them to propose new ideas, projects, and initiatives, and promote sports culture as a lifestyle for the youth.
