Minister of Labour Mohammad Gobran and Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber handed over 31 employment contracts at the Labour Directorate headquarters to individuals with disabilities from Cairo. The contracts are with five companies: SIAC Assets & Facilities Management, EEC Group, Bazooka, Enviromaster Company, and Dynamic Security Service.

Governor Saber said the ceremony is part of the state's commitment to providing decent job opportunities and integrating individuals with disabilities into the labor market. This initiative comes in line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The issue of individuals with disabilities has received significant attention under President Sisi, through legislation that ensures protection, care, and support for this group or by integrating them into the labor market and providing various types of training for the necessary professions.

Moreover, Saber highlighted the successful collaboration between the Ministry of Labor and the Cairo Governorate in various areas of mutual interest. He emphasized that the state, under President Sisi, is committed to addressing the needs of individuals with disabilities, providing them with comprehensive support, integrating them into society, and involving them in all activities and sectors, recognizing their valuable contributions to all aspects of life.

For his part, Minister of Labour Mohammad Gobran said the handover of new contracts to individuals with disabilities is a continuation of the ministry's plan. This initiative also aligns with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to integrate these individuals into the labor market and implement Law No. 10 of 2018, which mandates a 5% quota.

Gobran also directed all directorates to implement plans for integrating individuals with disabilities into the ministry's programs and initiatives, including training and qualifying them for the labor market, as well as providing them with decent job opportunities.

The handover ceremony was attended by representatives of the Labor Directorate, led by El-Sayed El-Sharkawi, Director of the Labor Directorate, Islam Ahmed, Deputy Director of the Labor Directorate, and representatives from the companies.
