Ibrahim Saber and Minister of Labour Mohammad Gibran presented 90 employment
contracts. It included 70 contracts for people of determination and 20 for those
who got job offers at the employment forum previously held as part of the
"A New Beginning for Building the Egyptian Citizen" Presidential
Initiative.
During the ceremony, Saber and Gibran also presented 14 vocational
training certificates to graduates of the “103 Paratroopers” Vocational
Training Center, which is affiliated with the Cairo Labour Directorate.
Deputy governors Ibrahim Abdel Hadi, Hossam El-Din Fawzi, and Ashraf
Mansour attended the ceremony along with Secretary-General Yahia Adgham,
Assistant Secretary-General Hossam Labib, Director of Labor Directorate Ahmad
Al-Azazi, and several officials of the Cairo governorate and Ministry of Labour.
Saber said this event is part of the implementation of the presidential
initiative "A New Beginning for Human Building,"
focusing on providing decent job opportunities and integrating people with
disabilities into the labor market, in line with the directives of President
Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. He added that President Sisi has prioritized the rights of
people with disabilities through legislation that offers protection, care, and
support for this group, integrates them into the labour market, and provides all
types of training to qualify them for the required professions.
Moreover, Saber emphasized that employment forums reflect the Egyptian
state's vision for collaboration and coordination with all development
partners, particularly civil society organizations and the private sector. This
initiative focuses on training and employment, as well as raising awareness
among youth and recent graduates about opportunities in the private sector,
aiming to provide decent job prospects and a better quality of life for
citizens. He noted that the governorate is committed to offering comprehensive
support and resources for the activities of employment forums.
