The Tourism and Antiquities
Ministry, represented by the General Egyptian Authority for Tourism Promotion,
launched an advertising campaign to support tourism to Egypt during the English
Premier League matches.
The campaign, which will run until
November 13, includes promoting for Egypt inside the stadiums by placing
advertisements about the various Egyptian tourist destinations on the banners
placed in the stadium, said CEO of the General Egyptian Authority for Tourism
Promotion Amr el Qady.
The campaign is also broadcasted on
famous sports channels in the UK, such as Sky Sports and BT Sports, he added.
The campaign also aims to lure more
tourists from all over the world to Sharm El Sheikh, which will host UN Climate
