Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber conducted a surprise inspection of the ongoing
development work on Ahmad Zaki Street. During the tour, Governor Saber
said that the street’s development, which spans the Dar Al-Salam and
Basatin districts, includes improving pavement efficiency, upgrading lighting
and curbstones, and enhancing landscaping.
Governor Saber,
during the tour, ordered intensive and regular inspection campaigns to prevent
illegal parking on streets, in cooperation with the Cairo Traffic General
Department. He emphasized the importance of removing dilapidated vehicles and street
occupancies, as well as monitoring cleanliness to ensure smooth traffic flow.
Moreover, Governor
Saber instructed district chiefs to carry out daily inspection tours to
preserve the development work that has been done in the street and to prevent
the recurrence of encroachments.
The governor was
accompanied by the chiefs of the Maadi, Dar Al-Salam, and Basatin districts,
along with several officials from the Cairo governorate.
