Egyptians
are in for a dose of true autumn this week, with mild days, cool nights, and
strong winds through this week. Winds may stir up sand and dust in some exposed
areas.
Strong wind speeds ranging
from 50 to 60 km/h are expected to disrupt maritime navigation, with wave
heights fluctuating between 2.5 and 3.5 meters in the Mediterranean and Red
Seas, reported the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA).
The northeastern winds will
pick up across most of the country, helping to cool the atmosphere during daytime,
while their gusts will increase in speed.
Light rain is also possible
on Wednesday and Thursday along the western northern coast regions.
Greater Cairo and Nile
Delta are expected to have moderate weather during the day, with highs around
28-29 degrees, with cooler evenings with temperatures around 19-20 degrees.
