Project in the New Delta as well as agricultural development projects in
Fayoum, Minya and Beni Sueif, “SanabelSono” project in Aswan, and the Dakhla
project in Southern Egypt, Presidency Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy said. These
projects are part of state keenness to provide high-quality agricultural
products to the local market, at affordable prices, as well as increasing
exports to foreign markets, Fahmy added.

Madbouli, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker, Minister

President Sisi gave directives to continue and boost
efforts to benefit from the successes realised by the projects, in a manner
likely to contribute to achieving the state’s strategic objectives, namely
promoting the agricultural sector, and increasing the cultivated areas, with
the aim of ensuring food security and protecting it against international
fluctuations, as well as bolstering the growth of national income, Spokesman
Fahmy noted.
